WHAT IS THE COURSE ROUTE?
There are actually four courses for the Long Trail Century Ride and all run through the beautiful scenic roads in and around the Killington region. Riders will be given course maps at check in and they can also be viewed below. New in 2015 was a Family-Friendly and Adaptive 5K route, which will be offered again and is part of the 20-mile course. Course maps (links) available at the bottom of the right column.
WHEN DOES THE RIDE START?
All riders will depart from the Long Trail Brewery in between Killington and Woodstock on Route 4 in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont.
5 a.m. - If you ride between 10-13 mph (note that aid stations may not be open in some spots this early)
7 a.m. - If you ride between 14-16 mph
8 a.m. - If you ride between 16-20 mph
9 a.m. - If you ride between 10-13 mph
9:30 a.m. - If you ride between 14-16 mph
10 a.m. - If you ride between 16-20 mph
11 a.m. - Noon - Roll out any time during this hour
WILL THERE BE BIKE SUPPORT ON COURSE?
There will be minimal support on course with 1-2 vehicles to provide light mechanical assistance and first aid.
WHAT WILL I FIND AT THE REST STOPS/AID STATIONS?
There will be ample food and drink at the stations.
ARE HELMETS REQUIRED?
Yes, anyone participating in the ride, regardless of the route, is required to wear a helmet.
WHAT TYPE OF BIKE SHOULD I USE?
A road bike is best, and if you don't own one, many of the shops in the Killington area offer demos and rentals. However, Time Trial Bikes are HIGHLY discouraged. They are meant for solo rides and training and not appropriate for this event.
WHAT IF I REGISTER THEN CAN'T MAKE IT; CAN I GET A REFUND?
As a general rule, there are no refunds except under extenuating circumstances like medical reasons or a death in the family.
CAN I FUNDRAISE ONLINE?
Yes! All riders are encouraged to set up a fundraising page and encourage their friends, family and coworkers to support their ride efforts with a donation. During your registration process you will have the opportunity to set up a personal fundraising page as well.
WHAT TIME IS THE AFTER-PARTY?
Gates open for the After-Ride Party at noon. All riders receive free entry, BBQ food, drink ticket, and the enjoyment of live music and entertainment. Family and friends are welcome too and additional tickets are available for $15/adult and $10/kids at the gate. The brewery closes at 7 p.m.
WILL THERE BE SHOWERS FOR AFTER MY RIDE?
There are Porta Potties available for riders and the brewery is open to the public. There are no shower facilities.
CAN I ORDER PARTY TICKETS ONLINE?
No. For 2016, party tickets will be available at the gate the day of the event, Saturday, June 25, 2016.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF IT RAINS?
The event will be held rain or shine.
CAN I HAVE SOMEONE LEAVE A DROP BAG FOR ME?
Yes, we'll post details on that soon.
All designated drivers should visit the front gate when they arrive and they will receive a wristband and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

The Long Trail Brewing Company loves pets, but unfortunately we can only allow service dogs at this event.
